My name is Lars O. Overskeid, and I currently develop awesome stuff for a Norwegian company called Rørkjøp. Most of my daily work involves understanding complex use cases or business logic, and convert them into functional applications. I’m also quite familiar with converting awesome code into human language. We do a lot of work on automating manual routines, big data, machine learning and e-commerce.

Although I grew up with PHP and later Perl, I’ve been a Ruby fan since 2007. For most of my work, Ruby on Rails is the goto toolkit, but I also experiment with funny JS frameworks for both backend and front-end.

This blog is about everything related to my work projects, hobby projects and general thoughts on methodology and tech. Thank you for reading, and please do subscribe to the RSS feed to stay updated on new posts.
